Firstly, Agenda item 12 (a) , the correspondence from the mayor of Yellowhead County. I think in this case the Mayor is correct…..with so much of the province fighting wildfires, being under a declared State of Emergency, and so many people evacuated, the only reasonable and compassionate thing to do is postpone.
Secondly, Agenda item 6(a) – a private resident should not be paying the same as a Vac Truck company to dump into the lagoon. That Vac truck is making a profit off of that and is most likely not a tax-paying resident.
Thirdly, Agenda item 5(b) – just give the kids the bus. Or better yet, get them to do a charity event like a car wash and donate all their proceeds to a worthy charity in exchange.
